Radiohead have disputed claims they've filed a lawsuit against Lana Del Rey for alleged copyright infringement, just days after the US singer seemingly confirmed the news.

Del Rey wrote on Twitter that it's "true" the UK rockers are suing her and allege that her track, Get Free, is ripped off from their 1992 classic, Creep.

However as Rolling Stone reports, a spokesperson for Radiohead's publisher, Warner/Chapell, dismissed the talk in a statement and Del Rey's claims that the band want "100% of the publishing"

"As Radiohead's music publisher, it's true that we’ve been in discussions since August of last year with Lana Del Rey's representatives," the statement reads.

"It's clear that the verses of Get Free use musical elements found in the verses of Creep and we've requested that this be acknowledged in favor of all writers of Creep.

"To set the record straight, no lawsuit has been issued and Radiohead have not said they 'will only accept 100 percent' of the publishing of Get Free."

Del Rey is yet to publicly respond.
