SHIHAD ANNOUNCE IGNITE TOUR AND TICKET INFO Hot on the heels of the SOLD OUT run of Killjoy and General Electric album shows comes SHIHAD's national tour in support of IGNITE – the new album slated for a September 24th release through Roadrunner Records. ‘Ignite’ has been described as harkening back to many of the original raw elements of SHIHAD – the rumbling and slow spiralling heavy groove unfolding under the thick crackle of a duelling Telecaster and SG all underpinning Johnny's engaging vocal. Joining SHIHAD on the Ignite tour to round out a smokin’ bill are Trial Kennedy and Black Devil Yard Boss (BDYB). Trial Kennedy barely need introduction after their incendiary debut album ‘New Manic Art’ ripped through Australian rock airwaves in 2008; and word is TK will be playing cuts from an imminent new release. BDYB features ex-Mammal members Pete Williamson and Zane Rosanoski and ex-Pete Murray’s Stonemason bass player Michael Davids. The debut BDYB EP was released on August 13th and their first single ‘One Dead Letter’ is spinning on triple j radio. | |
