PARKLIFE GOLD COAST TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE Parklife is Australia’s unparalleled electronic/indie music festival, jam-packed with artists who completely define the moment in music. Parklife kick starts the summer season in idyllic outdoor venues where you and your friends step into a spectacle where the music is great and the world is your oyster. Parklife isn’t just another festival: Parklife is a world of its own. Tickets for PARKLIFE Gold Coast are available now from www.oztix.com.au plus all OzTix Retail Outlets nationally. Australia’s biggest electronic-indie music festival Parklife has been officially welcomed to Parklands its new home on the Gold Coast, when the Gold Coast council this week granted approval for the move from Brisbane. A boom in popularity over the last few years has necessitated the shifted to bigger pastures to accommodate an increase in festival-goers and Fuzzy fans. “Queensland Parklife has been the first event to sell out for the past four years, so we needed to provide our fans here with a better venue and bigger capacity where they can see all their favourite acts - by the beach in Australia’s premier holiday destination.” The first Gold Coast Parklife will mark the 10 year anniversary of the festival, with a line-up the organisers Fuzzy events believe is their best yet – including Missy Elliott, The Dandy Warhols, Groove Armada, Kele, New Young Pony Club, Soulwax, and Kele. Parklife tours to five states across Australia, and Queensland is the first leg of the national tour. With a capacity of 35,000 at Parklands, Parklife on the Gold Coast will ensure fans get to see every act they want, in a green and beautiful setting. Queenslanders better get in quick though, as already the ‘More Expensive Ticket’ to Parklife Gold Coast has sold out. Festival tickets are still available – and they’re getting picked up fast. Just weeks after going on sale on July 1, tickets for Parklife 2010 10th birthday have already begun selling out across Australia, with the aptly named ‘More Expensive Tickets’ all snapped up in Sydney and the Gold Coast, and with the first release of ‘Standard Tickets’ sold out in Adelaide and Perth. “We’re so happy that people are obviously as excited as we are!” say Fuzzy Co-Founders John Wall and Ming Gan about the popularity of tickets this year. “Tickets are selling out faster than ever and we’ve still got surprises up our sleeve for the actual events!” HERE'S THIS YEARS PARKLIFE DATES
