This was followed by a critically acclaimed role as 'Doughboy' in John Singleton's hood-based drama, Boyz n the Hood. His sophomore solo album, 'The Predator', become the first album to debut atop both the mainstream and R&B charts. As recently as last year, ICE CUBE’S eighth album 'Laugh Now, Cry Later', debuted at number four in the US. With 8 solo albums under his belt and a long list of credits to his name, including actor, screenwriter, film director, and producer, ICE CUBE shows no sign of slowing down with his new album ‘I am the West’ and a new movie ‘Lottery Ticket’ both due out this year. The 3rd Annual Fat As Butter Festival will take place on Saturday 23rd October back where it all started at Camp Shortland, The Foreshore. This year the gorgeous beach front venue will also play host to a plethora of festival vibrancy with various market stalls, an international food bizarre, a sideshow ally of games and rides, artwork installations throughout the event site and roving performers.
