2010 Hungry Jacks UIM Unlimited Displacement World Championship Event Dates and Ticketing Info !

It has been a long time in coming, however wait no more ! For the first time, in the history of Powerboat Racing Worldwide, the Supercharged Circuit Boats from Australia and New Zealand are competing against the American K Boats to decide who will be the first ever World Champion.

Folks, if you like your Supercharged Top Speed adrenalin racing, then watching circuit boats race three laps at over 240kph is the ultimate experience. With engines that produce up to 2000 hp which pushes these boats to excess speeds, they are one of the most powerful race boat classes in the world today and have the sound to prove it.

The 2010 HUNGRY JACKS UIM WORLD POWERBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP is promising to be shaping up to be a cracker of an event so cross off on your calendar the 15th, 16th & 17th October, 2010 because you will NOT see a better event of Supercharged Racing than this one. The first race in history with will see all of the boats in both of the top classes fitted with a Reinforced Safety Cockpit.

Australia is very fortunate to have some Perfect Powerboat Racing Venues, in particular on the fresh water River Courses on the Mighty Murray River. A new circuit for the Unlimited Displacement will see the lawns of the Gol Gol Hotel and adjacent park come alive for three days when the Big Boys hit town.

So where t he hell is Gol Gol !! It is literally 10 minutes from Mildura, over the bridge into NSW and just around the corner on the river from the Mildura Ski Club (for all the powerboat fanatics) !

The river is wide and the course will be hard and fast with straights at least 710sqm long and three buoy turns so you will witness all of the action.

The event will also feature Australia’s only Top Fuel Hydro take to the water and so you can witness what a 7000hp boat can do. “Nitro Thunder” brought to you by Hungry Jacks will make your hair stand on end……

All of the action can be viewed live on the 40m² Big Screen offering slow motion replays and the extreme racing action, Sponsors Marketing and crowed interaction, which offers a great entertainment package. As a spectator you will be surrounding by powerboat racing both on and off the water. Supporting the Unlimited Competitors will be the Australian 6 Litre Displacement Cell Boats (who could take it up to some of the Unlimited Class boats if they could) and also the upcoming races of the Junior Boats.

If you feel like going for a ride yourself the Orrcon V8 Supercar Simulator will be on the lawns of the Gol Gol Hotel so you can fulfil your need, your need for speed…….

Bring the family for a weekend of fun as Mildura that weekend is also hosting the Annual Mildura Show featuring Show Rides, Animals and the fantastic Country Show fun.
